FIRST FRIDAY + RAVENS RALLY

November 1 @ 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm

November 1st is FIRST FRIDAY, so we are releasing a brand new beer! This Belgian-style Abbey is a collaboration with another Howard County Farm… Gentle Giants Draft Horse Rescue.   A portion of proceeds from “King’s Abbey” sales will benefit Gentle Giants Mission of saving draft horses from slaughter, abuse, and neglect.

And we have even more exciting news to add!  THE BALTIMORE RAVENS (yes, those Ravens) will be bringing their mascot (Poe) and a few cheerleaders to the farm at approximately 4pm.  They’ll only be here a short while to meet the fans and cheer the team on for the home game on Sunday (11/3) vs the Denver Broncos.  Come by early because they will only be here for a short while (4-5pm).  More info on the event, including some fun prizes and giveaways!

~~~~~~~~
The Farm & Taproom will be open all weekend (Friday 4-9pm, Saturday 12-7pm, and Sunday 12-7pm) with 13 farm-brewed beers (+ our hard seltzer) on draught and multiple options in cans available to go.  All seating on the Farm is first come, first served.  We have indoor seating, a large covered tent, and plenty of outdoor space to spread out. There are several picnic tables in our field, but we also encourage you to bring your own chairs or even a portable (10×10) pop-up tent for shade and find your new favorite spot with friends. (if you bring a tent, don’t forget the weights/stakes).
Manor Hill Pizza Trolley will be open!
(please note the Pizza Trolley may close one hour before farm closes.)
INFO ON VISITING THE FARM
While visiting the farm, be sure to check out our agriculture in action.  Our award-winning beers may be our most well-known agricultural product, but our 54-acre working farm has so much more to offer.  In fact, the majority of our land is used for agriculture… so you can’t miss it no matter where you are on the farm!
As you enter the farm, on the right side of the driveway, you will see 14 acres of non-GMO corn. Every single beer brewed at Manor Hill uses this corn in its recipe.  On the left side of the driveway as you enter you will see our 12-acre cow pasture where we host about 20-25 Black Angus Cattle on the farm from Spring to Fall (there is an additional cattle pasture behind the residence).  Directly behind our Taproom, we have a coop with one rooster (Elvis) and approximately 30 egg-laying hens.  Next to our chicken coop is our goat enclosure featuring Mary and Gilbert, a mother and son set of Pygmy Goats.  Last, but certainly not least, is our array of gardens on the farm that produce various vegetables, fruits, and herbs used in our beer, Trolley pizza, and at our restaurants.  Informational signs on the property as well as our staff can answer any questions you have during your visit.
