CORN FEST Fall Festival
September 28 @ 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Join us at Manor Hill Farm on Saturday, September 28th (from 12-7pm) to celebrate our favorite (and most important) farm crop… our CORN! We’re planning for a day full of fun that you don’t want to miss.
Entry is FREE for this action-packed Fall Festival and it will feature:
* Corn Hole by the Barn *
* Live Music on Two Stages *
Acoustic Barn Stage (Dan Bregman and DT Huber) and Bluegrass Field Stage (Moose Jaw and Dave Zelonka Band)
* New Release “14 Acres” (our Light Corn Lager) in cans and on draught *
* Food Trucks with tasty corn-themed specials, including Tasty Maryland and Manor Hill Pizza Trolley *
* Good Karma Creamery *
* Schmidty’s Kettle Corn & Snacks *
* Kids Activities: Free Glitter Tattoos & Free “Corn Man” stickers *
The Farm & Taproom will have 13 farm-brewed beers (+ our hard seltzer) on draught and multiple options in cans available to go. All seating on the Farm is first come, first served. We have indoor seating, a large covered tent, and plenty of outdoor space to spread out. There are several picnic tables in our field, but we also encourage you to bring your own chairs or even a portable (10×10) pop-up tent for shade and find your new favorite spot with friends. (if you bring a tent, don’t forget the weights/stakes).
Yard Games (cornhole, bocce, etc) and balls/frisbees are welcome, but must remain in hop field and other grassy areas on the farm. They are not permitted in the paved courtyard by the Tap Room and Tent. Please note that while this is a family friendly event, children must remain under parental supervision at all times.
While visiting the farm, be sure to check out our agriculture in action. Our award-winning beers may be our most well-known agricultural product, but our 54-acre working farm has so much more to offer. In fact, the majority of our land is used for agriculture… so you can’t miss it no matter where you are on the farm!
As you enter the farm, on the right side of the driveway, you will see 14 acres of non-GMO corn. Every single beer brewed at Manor Hill uses this corn in its recipe. On the left side of the driveway as you enter you will see our 12-acre cow pasture where we host about 20-25 Black Angus Cattle on the farm from Spring to Fall (there is an additional cattle pasture behind the residence). Directly behind our Taproom, we have a coop with one rooster (Elvis) and approximately 30 egg-laying hens. Next to our chicken coop is our goat enclosure featuring Mary and Gilbert, a mother and son set of Pygmy Goats. Last, but certainly not least, is our array of gardens on the farm that produce various vegetables, fruits, and herbs used in our beer, Trolley pizza, and at our restaurants. Informational signs on the property as well as our staff can answer any questions you have during your visit.
Note that our Pizza Trolley & other food trucks may close one hour before the farm closes. Please check back regularly as this schedule can change as the date approaches.
