St Paddy’s Whiskey & Stout Release

March 16 @ 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The Farm and Taproom will be open Saturday (12-7pm) for this one-of-a-kind special event!  Featuring:

~ 14 Farm Brewed Beers on Tap plus multiple options in cans & bottles to go. ~

~ Manor Hill Pizza Trolley will be open with their traditional favorites and a Shepard’s Pie Pizza special ~

~ Mr Soft Ice Cream will be on site to serve the kids (and parents) ~

~ LIVE MUSIC featuring The Corkers.  This brother and sister duo will be playing an eclectic mix of music, including Irish Folk Songs from 2-5pm. ~

McClintock Distilling (Frederick, MD) will be on site for this EPIC DOUBLE RELEASE:

1) Beer: The re-release of our 2023 Whiskey Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout “My Old Friend”.  And the new release of our Rum Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout “Me Olde Matey”.  So we could release it in tandem with:

2) Whiskey: It’s distilled and barrel-aged counterpart Whiskey… “My Old Friend”!  This truly unique whiskey had its humble beginnings as a velvety smooth and roasty imperial stout brewed more than three years ago on Manor Hill Farm, just over 37 miles east of McClintock where it was ultimately distilled, aged, and bottled. “My Old Friend” pours a deep copper and is a flavor bomb of espresso, cacao, pear and cherry! Super delicious neat, on the rocks or in your favorite whiskey cocktail.  McClintock’s Co-Founder Braeden Bumpers will be on-site (12-5pm) sampling “My Old Friend” as well as selling limited bottles of this rare whiskey to go!

Please note that both of these items sold out quickly when we last held this event in 2022.  This is the second (and new) iteration of the “My Old Friend” Whiskey that was released back in 2022.  So if you bought it then you’ll want to return for this version (or to replenish your stock).

All seating on the Farm is first come, first served.  We have indoor seating, a large covered tent, and plenty of outdoor space to spread out. There are several picnic tables in our field, but we also encourage you to bring your own chairs or even a portable (10×10) pop-up tent for shade and find your new favorite spot with friends.

While visiting the farm, be sure to check out our agriculture in action.  Our award-winning beers may be our most well-known agricultural product, but our 54-acre working farm has so much more to offer.  In fact, the majority of our land is used for agriculture… so you can’t miss it no matter where you are on the farm!

As you enter the farm, on the right side of the driveway, you will see 14 acres of non-GMO corn. Every single beer brewed at Manor Hill uses this corn in its recipe.  On the left side of the driveway as you enter you will see our 12-acre cow pasture where we host about 20-25 Black Angus Cattle on the farm from Spring to Fall (there is an additional cattle pasture behind the residence).  Directly behind our Taproom, we have a coop with one rooster (Elvis) and approximately 30 egg-laying hens.  Next to our chicken coop is our goat enclosure featuring Mary and Gilbert, a mother and son set of Pygmy Goats.  Last, but certainly not least, is our array of gardens on the farm that produce various vegetables, fruits, and herbs used in our beer, Trolley pizza, and at our restaurants.  Informational signs on the property as well as our staff can answer any questions you have during your visit.
